We are made to believe that every minute of our life we are facing some pressing problem and our mind should always be engaged in problem-solving. This problem-solving state of our mind makes us habitual to be anxious, to be well planned all the time and to be in a state of business even when we want to take a break. Over indulgence in problem-solving gives birth to a state of feeling without being something, it tells us all the time that something is desired to be done, something is there that we need to get hold of or some goal that we have to achieve to live happily ever after. It’s taken from the True Meaning of Life.
Over indulgence in problem-solving gives birth to a state of feeling without being something, it tells us all the time that something is desired to be done, something is there that we need to get hold of or some goal that we have to achieve to live happily ever after. It’s taken from the True Meaning of Life.
But the Question is What is the true meaning of life?
Things can be as simple as a huge refrigerator, a grand home theater, more advanced gadgets or something big, like reaching the top executive post. We think that these things will provide us with the eternal happiness and peace but as we keep achieving these materialistic goals, we are happy and content for a short time, and then the struggle starts again. It’s a never ending vicious cycle. Thus the soul strangled in this trap remains unaware of its true self and actual existence from the True Meaning of Life.
We have to overcome this futile practice of desires and should gain happiness and peace. Happiness and peace do not come with materialistic things. If this were possible, every millionaire would have been happier than a pizza delivery boy for example. But this is not the case, while millionaire is busy in a battle of becoming a billionaire, the pizza delivery boy might be striving for an admission in school or a girlfriend. Thus the state of want, the mentality of something missing is same for everyone.
