To My Future Love Reading This: ‘Please Be Patient With Me’

Dear future love of my life,

I look forward to meeting you and creating extraordinary memories with you. But before we meet, there are some things you should know.

When I love, I put my whole heart in it. I don’t do anything half-heartedly. I am a very passionate person, and when we are together, I want to share my whole body and mind with you.

I am loyal. When we are together, I do not think about anyone else but you. And I expect the same behavior from you. When I commit, I commit truly and deeply. This means not playing games or being unreal with each other. I do not do things that way. It is all or nothing with me.

If you cannot handle me at my worst, you sure as h*ll don’t deserve me at my best.

I am not the easiest person to be with. I have a stubborn personality and flaws like any other human. As I mentioned above, I am a very passionate person. This applies to arguing as much as it does to love. But I believe in honesty and not keeping secrets. So if there is something on my mind or yours, it is better just to say it out loud.

I need time to open up. I do not have a lot of close friends, and I do not trust people easily. That means it takes some work and patience to get through to me. But once you do, you will not regret it. I care for the people who are close to me. I will protect them and stand up for them.

I am a true romantic. I have been hurt many times, but I am still a believer in love. I need to feel loved. I am not talking about material gifts or fancy dates, but your commitment to me. I can tell if a person is not sincere, so do not ever try to fool me.

I will test you. I want to be sure that your love is genuine and profound. I may be challenging at times, but if you give up easily, you are not the guy for me. I need someone I can count on forever and always.

I want equality. I need you to respect me, and I will do the same for you. I need to be able to share all the problems, tasks and chores with you. I am not the housewife type, who will clean after you and cook for you.

Do not take me for granted. I know my own value, so I need someone by my side who knows it as well. I promise you in return that I will love you and appreciate you as hard as I can. I believe that a great relationship can only stand on mutual appreciation and respect.

Do not betray me. As I said before, it takes time to earn my trust. But it is very easy to lose it. When you act shady or disrespectful towards me, believe me, I won’t give you a second chance. I have done that already and know now better than to think that guys can change.

Loving me is not easy, but it might just be the greatest thing you ever experience. When you are with me, I will treasure you and give my whole mind and body to you. I will cherish you, cheer for your success and cry when you are sad. Being together is like being a part of each other. When something affects you, it also affects me.

With me, it is all or nothing. So if you are courageous enough, give me a chance.
