We would imagine most people have experienced a broken heart at some point in their lives and if they haven’t yet, at some point they will.
Most people end up blaming the object of their affection for “breaking” their heart and fail to realize that they share some of the blame, after all, it is your feelings that have got hurt.
Everyone carry certain flaws and most of the time in a relationship, it is these issues that drive people apart and eventually away.
Most people have an idea, at least, of what these flaws might be but did you know your Zodiac could be having an influence too? Here are the personality traits that could be causing your heartache.

Independent Aries might be a loving creature but can sometimes come off as a loner, who isn’t interested in letting someone into their life. Motivated by self-interest and incredibly independent, they can be perceived as distant and remote, making building a connection with them hard.
They appear uninterested in longer commitment or sharing their life with anyone else and a partner can end up feeling isolated within the relationship.
Stubborn Taurus isn’t good at letting go or compromising, two traits you definitely need in a relationship. Staying angry longer than necessary and bringing up petty arguments means issues are rarely resolved. Even if their partner apologizes, Taureans find it hard to forgive and forget, which ends up pushing them away.
The “my way or the highway” attitude is hard to take and even the most understanding partner may start to get bored of their attitude.
It’s hard to tie a Gemini down and with their tendency to change what they want to do, one day to the next, it is hard for a partner to really feel like they are committed to a relationship. While the “free spirit” attitude might be great at the start, when it comes to building a future together this flighty behavior begins to cause problems.
Consider if you really want to be with someone before agreeing to anything more than casual.

Cancerians throw their whole heart into a relationship and make it the center of their world. While their caring nature and commitment to a partner may be admirable, at times it can be too much and they can be guilty of smothering their partner or getting too clingy.
It’s great that you want to help them or be there for them, but everyone needs space in a relationship and being able to give this could be the best way to support them.
A Leo will never cheat, but their vanity and need to be the center of attention could drain the spirit out of their relationship. Never one to hold back when it comes to expressing an opinion, they relish winning an argument and feel good about themselves, but consider your partner who has to put up with this constantly.
It might be attractive at first, but it can get old, quickly.
Virgo’s suspicious and untrusting nature means they can kill a relationship before it even gets started. Snooping through their phone and checking their bank statements, isn’t going to go down well with a perspective partner, who won’t appreciate the invasion of privacy.
It might feel natural to be suspicious, but try and work against that if you want your relationship to work.

The most hopeful sign, Libra has a hard time walking away from a relationship and will waste time and feelings trying to change someone, who is completely wrong for them. This is never going to end well, so if you’re a Libran learn to be more honest with yourself and learn to walk away when it’s not right.
Scorpio is the most passionate and deeply emotional of the signs, but this can often translate into jealousy, possessiveness, and outrageous behavior. Scorpios need to learn they cannot control or possess people they love, otherwise, they will drive away any prospective partners who cannot cope with their strength of emotions.
Scorpions have many positive traits, which they should concentrate on rather than indulge in the darker side of their personality.
Sagittarius have an unrivaled passion for life and are always seeking out adventure, however, this thrill-seeking life isn’t for everyone, something they struggle to understand. If their partner doesn’t match their zest for life they can feel rejected and insulted, taking their inability to keep up personally.
Sagittarians need to remember not everyone is a thrill seeker and need to learn not to take it personally if their partner wants to sit out one or two adventures.

Capricorns don’t find it easy to open up and this can cause problems in a relationship. They struggle to trust their partner and won’t totally commit to them until they have gone to extreme lengths to prove their loyalty. This attitude can sometimes smother a partner, who isn’t going to appreciate being checked up on 24/7 or being treated like they have done something wrong when they haven’t.
Capricorns need to learn that mistrust should only come after their partner has done something wrong and not before, otherwise they will drive people away.
Aquarians are smart cookies who are quick-witted and always have something intelligent to say. While a sharp mind can be sexy and attractive, there’s a limit to what people can take and learning when to reign in your personality could save your relationship.
Sometimes it’s better to be quiet than being right all the time because this attitude can turn someone off really quickly.
