So, what is actually a magnetic 6th sense?
It actually is the ability to perceive magnetic fields and some animals use it together with the Earth’s magnetic field to find their way over long distances.
New studies have shown that humans also have it.
A geophysicist from California Institute of Technology, Joe Kirschvink is testing humans for magnetic sense and thinks that this actually can be historically our primal sense.
Kirschvink’s experiment suggested that humans also have a magnetic sense.
He measured the participants’ brainwaves with a rotating magnetic field and discovered that certain neutrons responded to the change of magnetic field’s rotation.
Animals like sea turtles, honeybees, spiny lobster and dolphins all use magnetic compass to decode information from the magnetic fields. We know very little about how the animals use them, how they sense them and what information are they getting, but it is thought that it could be much more than just navigation.
But the most important question still remains – what impact do the magnetic fields have on humans?
This question is been looked at the HeartMath Institute, which is a non-profit research and education organisation. Researches at the HeartMath Institute are trying to figure out the human energy connection to the Earth and how to use this inter-connectivity to raise our personal vibration.
Some of the hypothesis of the research are that the magnetic field of the Earth is connecting all the living systems on the planet and also that every organism, including humans, are affecting this global information field. The hypothesis are also suggesting that the magnetic fields work as shields around the planet which protect us from cosmic rays, sand and other forms of space weather.
They are a very important part of the ecosystem of the Earth.
Magnetic fields can affect how we feel. For example, if they are stable, people have reported positive feelings and more creativity and inspiration. In opposite, when the magnetic fields are distributed, it can cause sleep problems, mental confusion and lack of energy.
Is it really possible that the Earth’s magnetic fields influence humans?
Yes it is.
The Earth generates frequencies that range from 0.01 hertz to 300 hertz, which are the same exact frequency as in our brain, cardiovascular system and autonomic nervous system. Changes in the Earth’s fields have shown effects on human brainwaves, heart rhythms, memory, athletics performance and overall health.
These changes have also been linked to some of the greatest creations of art and some of the most tragic events.
So it is certain that the Earth’s waves affect us, but what about the other way around? Some scientists believe that we are not just receivers, but also the senders of information. Our information goes into the global field and creates a feedback loop with the Earth’s magnetic fields.
This topic is still a mystery for scientists and needs to be researched more. It is important to know how the non-material science affects all life on the Earth and the Earth itself. Knowledge on this topic could have an impact on global events and improve life quality.
