In its simplest form, dating is nothing but a game. Sometimes you win, and at times, you suck at it.

Despite the fact that we have taken several decisions to ensure that we will keep away from taking part in this game, we just always end up playing it.

The reason I find it much easier to be single is that majority of the single attractive guys are either narcissists or simply a**holes because anything with them does not start with intellect.

To skip this, I’d prefer Netflix by myself, any day despite just having someone trying to jump my bones only.

In my youth, I spent a lot of time chasing guys, trying to find the perfect one and daydreaming about how life really would be.

Well, none of it lasted.

This was primarily because men would turn out to be douchebags and say anything they possibly can to get into a woman’s pants. Of course, it would be wrong to say that all guys are like that, but there is a certain age when they are.

At the beginning of these relationships, they were all fantastic people.

But sooner or later, they would stop returning calls, a few of them just disappeared a day after the first intercourse but instantly reappear hoping for a booty call.

Don’t let exes sneak back into your life when their relationships go awry. I made that mistake once, and it still stings.

Now that I have mentioned it, we had been dating for months before things went south when everything was said and done he had a new girl, and I was left all alone. As soon as they hit a rough patch, he snuck his way back into my bed, only to leave me for her days later.

I was naive, that was my mistake.

There is no harm in playing the field if that is what you want to do, but please be safe from it.

Regardless of what you choose to do, dating can be exhausting, and in most cases, it is much more fun to be by yourself and enjoy your freedom.

You don’t have to be completely closed off to be protected.

Just live your life for yourself and take each day as you feel you should. Your time is not something that should be wasted, and men should know that before coming into your life. When you’re playing the game of dating it is important to make sure you are winning.
