His wife, Rita Wilson, seems to be perfect for him. What makes this couple different from all of the other couples in Hollywood is how they real they seem. When Tom was asked what is the secret to the long and lasting marriage that he has with Rita, he simply said “We just like each other. You start there.”
It seems like an easy thing to do, right? Liking is always different from loving. You have to genuinely like someone in order for the love to stay there. If you cannot stand the person’s bad habits, how are you still going to love that person?
With Tom and Rita, they know that they have gotten married because of the way that they like each other. They know that when they are together, they feel secure in each other’s company.
