In our current time, there are vast number of items that adverse a direct impact on our health. Here processed food look yummy and attractive enough that people even forget about their organs just for good taste. Now because of this profusion of fast foods people are becoming weak day by day.
Junk food is extremely popular and is an integral part of modern generation. Some of the common examples of junk foods include; burgers, pizzas, french fries etc, which can easily and deeply affect human life. Preferring junk food is becoming a common trend which is unhygienic among the people across any age group, especially teenagers.
Some junk foods are made from a lot of high saturated fats and calories which leads to complications like obesity, chronic illness, low self-esteem and even depression.
Here are some unhealthy foods we must avoid in our daily life:
1. WHITE BREAD:
White bread is baked from wheat flour that is high in carbs. It contains dietary fibers that can facilitate our digestion and metabolism. Nowadays people are preferring white bread, instead of brown, without knowing the fact that it escalates your blood sugar level which causes sudden spikes in heart rate and increases sugar levels upto 75%.
Due to slow intensive system the lack of fibre in white bread exposes to constipation problems. And when the proteins and fats in white bread start accumulation in body we may gain weight.
2. PASTRIES, CAKES AND COOKIES:
Most baked items like pastries, cakes and cookies are unhealthy if taken in excess. Because excessive amount of fats in these product can damage our memory. Some cookies contain large amounts of flour that may cause constipation problems. These kind of items also go under the term partially hydrogenated oils which can deeply damage our diet.
3. MOST PIZZAS AND BURGERS:
Burgers and pizzas are the most common favorite junk food of current generation. Pizzas are commonly made with unhealthy ingredients; including highly refined dough, and heavily processed meat. Burgers contain high amount of sodium, which leads to heavy weight and obesity. These kind of items contain excess amount of cheese, mayo and secret sauces which adverse an unhealthy effect.
4. FRENCH FRIES AND POTATO CHIPS:
Whole white potatoes contain large amounts of calories. Because french fries are deep fried in oil they are very high in fats, which can pose a number of serious health risks, if consumed regularly. Taking excess amount of potato chips with different flavors leads to cardiac and diabetic problems. These foods may also contain large amounts of acrylamide, which are carcinogenic substances that form when potatoes are fried, baked, or roasted.
5. CANDY BARS:
Candy bars are unhealthy because they may contain large amounts of sugar, refined wheat flour, and processed fats while also very low in essential nutrients. Regularly consuming candies can cause risk of heart diseases and even hinder the function of immune system. In addition, these kind of junk foods even leave you hungry because of the way your body metabolizes these sugar bombs.
6. ICE CREAM:
Ice cream is totally loaded with large amounts of sugar. It is probably high in fat which leads to cardiovascular diseases. Excess consumption of ice cream can increase blood cholesterol level and increase risk of heart diseases. In short, it has a big potential to cause food poisoning.
7. SODAS AND SWEET DRINKS:
Nowadays, sodas and sweet drinks are very common in restaurants and supermarkets. But nearly 100% of the calories in these drinks come from sugar which is highly toxic. Excess amount may lead to teeth problems and cavity formation. It also leads to very serious problems, including type 2 diabetes and heart diseases.
8. CHEESE:
Cheese is totally loaded with nutrients. They are mostly made with filtered ingredients. Taking cheese in large amount leads to fatness because it contains bacteria which is transferred from cows.

9. SWEETENED BREAKFAST CEREALS:
Breakfast cereals are processed cereal grains, such as wheat, oats, rice, and corn. Nowadays, they’re very popular in children. The main and the most highlighted downside of these cereals is their high added sugar content. The grains in cereals are usually processed into fine flour which contributes to weight issues.
10. MAYONNAISE:
We love to have mayonnaise in our burgers, french fries or pizzas but we do not realize that we are loading our bodies. Just a quarter cup of mayonnaise is nearly 360 calories and 40 grams of fats and they lead to weight gain and so many other diseases.
CONCLUSION:
Our body is an amazing machine with an extraordinary network of systems operating inside us. But we need to understand that all the items that are mentioned above are amazing but we need to be conscious about our health.
