An individual affected with ADHD is given medications to control their impulsiveness, hyperactivity, and inattentiveness such as Clonidine, stimulants, and antipsychotics. In adults and teens, doctors may even prescribe additional drugs such as antidepressants to keep depression and anxiety under control.
